About this chart: the equity curve represents the shared VantEdge systematic methodology used by the Indicator and Strategy. The Indicator itself does not place orders; its built-in Performance Dashboard reflects the Indicator’s own signal outcomes and is illustrative only. Actual trading results may differ due to execution, slippage, commissions, fees, settings, liquidity, market conditions, and trader decisions.
How it works

Bias → Conditions → Confirmed signal.

VantEdge first establishes a directional market bias, then evaluates a series of market-condition filters. When the required conditions align, a confirmed long or short signal is plotted on the chart — and the trade decisions stay entirely with you.

01

Directional market bias

VantEdge first establishes which side of the market qualifies before any signal is considered.

02

Market-condition filters

Volatility, participation and volume, choppiness, and session conditions are evaluated in turn.

03

Confirmed signal plotted

When the required conditions align, a confirmed long or short signal prints on your chart.

Directional Trend Bias

Helps identify the prevailing market direction before a signal is considered.

Recommended Default Settings

We’ve done the optimization work.

The VantEdge Indicator ships with our preferred long-term configuration — the Recommended Default Settings — based on extensive historical testing and designed to prioritize robustness and consistency rather than maximize performance over a short or isolated period.

We recommend starting with the default settings rather than optimizing for a specific recent period. Changing settings can materially change signal frequency, drawdown, and performance characteristics.

Default does not mean guaranteed. Market conditions change, and historical results do not guarantee future performance.

Indicator vs. Strategy

Same methodology. Different level of control.

Both products are built around the same core VantEdge methodology. The difference is how much of the trade you run yourself.
